Field not showing

What you’re seeing: The VAT field does not appear at checkout.

Fix

  1. Go to EU VAT Checker → General Settings
  2. Enable Show VAT number field at checkout
  3. Make sure the billing country is in the EU (or Switzerland)
  4. Disable checkout page caching

If the setting is enabled and the field is still missing, test in an incognito window and temporarily disable checkout customisation plugins to rule out a conflict.
