What you're seeing: When you click Invoice/Packing Slip, nothing happens — or you see a blank page / error.
Quick check (2 minutes)
- Open the order and verify it has at least one product and a billing address
- Try generating the PDF again (or use “Regenerate” if available)
- Open your browser console (F12) and check for errors
Check service status
- Go to PDF Invoices → Dashboard
- Look at the Service status section
- Verify all indicators are green:
- "License active"
- "PDF service OK"
- "Schema OK"
- "API connected"
If any indicator shows an error, your server may not be able to reach BridgeSync services. Check your firewall settings or contact your hosting provider.
Most common causes
PHP memory limit too low
PDF generation can require more memory than default hosting plans provide.
Fix: Increase PHP memory to 256 MB+ or disable heavy PDF features (like product images).
PDF engine not available
If the cloud engine can’t be reached (firewall), generation may fail.
Fix: Check the Service status section on PDF Invoices → Dashboard to verify your connection to BridgeSync services.
Plugin conflict
Caching/security plugins or other invoice plugins can interfere.
Fix: Temporarily disable non-essential plugins and retry.
