Recommended for best results

  • PHP 8.1+ for speed and stability
  • 256 MB+ memory for large orders (many line items or images)
  • GD Library or Imagick for embedding images (logos/product images)

Compatibility notes

  • WooCommerce Blocks: Works with classic checkout and block-based checkout.
  • Caching plugins: If PDFs don’t update after template changes, clear caches (see troubleshooting).

Not sure if your site meets the requirements?

After installing the plugin, check PDF Invoices → Dashboard — the Service status section shows compatibility information.

BridgeSync service connection

BridgeSync PDF Invoices uses cloud-based PDF rendering for high-quality, browser-accurate documents. Your server needs to connect to BridgeSync services.

Why this matters: The plugin sends document data to BridgeSync's PDF service and receives the generated PDF back. If your server can't reach BridgeSync, PDF generation will fail.

How to check: After installing the plugin, go to PDF Invoices → Dashboard. Look at the Service status section. You should see:

  • "License active" — Your license is valid
  • "PDF service OK" — Connection to PDF rendering service works
  • "Schema OK" — Document templates are valid
  • "API connected" — Real-time connection confirmed

If any of these show errors, check your firewall settings or contact support.
