Send invoices

Setup time: 2 minutes during initial setup, then fully automatic

BridgeSync generates professional PDF invoices, packing slips, and credit notes for every Bol.com order. Invoices upload to Bol.com automatically when orders complete, your customers can download them directly from their Bol.com account.

Option 1: Enable during Setup Wizard

The easiest way to enable automatic invoice uploads is during initial plugin setup:

  1. In the Setup Wizard, navigate to Step 3: Synchronization
  2. Enable the Automatic invoice upload toggle at the bottom of the page
  3. Complete the remaining wizard steps

Option 2: Configure in Invoice Settings

Already completed the wizard? Enable invoice uploads and configure advanced settings here:

  1. Go to Bol.com connector → Invoice settings in WordPress
  2. Enable Invoice upload settings at the top of the page
  3. Click Save settings

Done! BridgeSync now generates invoices and uploads them to Bol.com automatically when orders reach "Completed" status. Your customers can download invoices directly from their Bol.com account.

Configure document generation triggers

Control when BridgeSync generates each document type. Under Document Service — Automation, configure triggers for:

  • Invoice — Typically generated on "Completed" status (default). Enable "Processing" if you need invoices earlier.
  • Packing slip — Usually generated on "Processing" and "Completed" for warehouse picking.
  • Credit note — Automatically generated on "Refunded" status when you process returns.

Customise your invoice template

Create professional branded invoices by scrolling down on the Invoice settings page:

  • Branding — Upload your company logo (PNG or JPG recommended)
  • Colour & styling — Set your brand colours for headers and accents
  • Typography & Fonts — Choose from available fonts or upload a custom font
  • Company details — Enter company name, address, Chamber of Commerce number, and VAT number
  • Contact details — Add phone number, email, and website

Use the Live preview panel on the right to see how your invoice, packing slip, and credit note will look before saving.

Access documents on individual orders

View, download, or regenerate documents for any Bol.com order:

  1. Go to WooCommerce → Orders and open any Bol.com order
  2. Scroll down to the BridgeSync Documents panel
  3. You'll see three columns: Invoice, Packing slip, and Credit note

For each document, you can:

  • View/Download — Click "View invoice" or "View packing slip" to open the PDF
  • Regenerate — Click "Re-create" to generate an updated document
  • Manual upload — Click "Upload to Bol.com" to manually trigger an invoice upload

Verify invoices are uploading correctly

BridgeSync logs every action in the order notes. After an invoice uploads successfully, you'll see:

  1. Open any completed Bol.com order in WooCommerce
  2. Scroll to the Order notes panel
  3. Look for the confirmation message: "Bol.com invoice upload submitted. Process Status ID: ..."

Tip: The Process Status ID in the order notes and documents panel lets you track the upload status in your Bol.com partner portal if needed.
